The City of Mebane is updating the ongoing Water Shortage Response Plan, moving to Stage I Declaration of Voluntary Conservation, reducing from Stage V mandatory restrictions to reflect that the Graham—Mebane Water Treatment Plant is now partially operational to supply water to Mebane.

The Mebane Emergency Operations Center (EOC) officially closed Friday at 5 p.m., and the (919) 304-9235 number will no longer be active.
 If you need to report storm damage or have any questions or concerns, please call the Mebane Police Department at (919) 563-9031.

Animal Control

Mebane Animal Control is responsible for enforcing city ordinances and laws pertaining to the welfare and control of animals within the city limits of Mebane. Enforcement activities range from investigating and prosecuting animal cruelty and neglect cases, violations of rabies, leash and nuisance laws and investigating potentially dangerous dog complaints.
