The City of Mebane is updating the ongoing Water Shortage Response Plan, moving to Stage I Declaration of Voluntary Conservation, reducing from Stage V mandatory restrictions to reflect that the Graham—Mebane Water Treatment Plant is now partially operational to supply water to Mebane.

The Mebane Emergency Operations Center (EOC) officially closed Friday at 5 p.m., and the (919) 304-9235 number will no longer be active.
 If you need to report storm damage or have any questions or concerns, please call the Mebane Police Department at (919) 563-9031.

Senior Programs at the MACC

 

The Mebane Arts & Community Center offers a variety of engaging programs designed to keep seniors active, social, and connected. Stay fit with MebFit Senior Fitness, spark creativity through arts activities, and enjoy friendly competition with Senior Connect games, featuring cards, board games, and more. Our programs promote wellness, lifelong learning, and meaningful social connections in a welcoming environment. There’s something for everyone—come join the fun and be part of our vibrant senior community!

Activities

The Mebane Recreation and Parks Department is proud to welcome Senior programming and activities with a special thanks to our community partners.

Different activities include:

  • Gym Walking - Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Corn Hole and Ping Pong - Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Senior Connect - Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Pickleball - Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
  • Movies- Every First Tuesday of the month starting at 2:00 p.m.
  • Bingo- Every Last Tuesday of the month from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
