Dr. Shawnee Seese

Dr. Shawnee Seese is a new resident of the City of Mebane, relocating with her family from Carrboro in 2021. Currently, Dr. Seese serves as the Director of Continuing Education Programs at Piedmont Community College, where she oversees initiatives to foster adult education and workforce development.

Outside of work, Shawnee is a member of St. Marks Community Church, loves attending Sunday School, making new friends, and just being present and being a good neighbor. She especially enjoys life in Mebane with her husband, Michael, two Border Collies named Nightingale and Patriot, and a Havanese named Ogee. The whole Seese family, including their beloved pets, are passionate about exploring the area’s farmers’ markets, local festivities, and serene walking trails. Shawnee is looking forward to serving on RPAC alongside others who love to contribute to our Charming City of Mebane.
