Recreation Program Coordinator
Lindsey Morris
Lindsey Morris was born in Southern California but considers North Carolina her home. After graduating from Holly Springs High School, Lindsey continued her higher education in Fort Myers, Florida and went on to Lynchburg, Virginia where she spent over 5 years working for the YMCA of Central Virginia in community engagement and leadership development while working on her college degree at Liberty University.
With a solid foundation in event coordinating for friends, family, and jobs throughout college coupled with over 10 years of experience with nonprofits and the YMCA has set Lindsey up to be skilled in event planning, program development, and team leadership, ensuring that every initiative not only meets but exceeds organizational goals and participant expectations.
When Lindsey and her husband Tanner owned a coffee shop in downtown Mebane, Lindsey truly fell in love with the community of Mebane. She is dedicated to creating meaningful connections and enhancing quality of life through opportunities and spaces for individuals and families to connect with their community and celebrate together.
Lindsey passionately works in program development, event planning, and team leadership – connection with the Mebane community, and love for the people she works with and for is what fuels her work. Everything that Lindsey does in her role is with the mindset to innovate and implement recreational programs that resonate with community traditions, needs, and aspirations.
Lindsey would best describe herself as a proud wife to Tanner and mother to Rory. Lindsey is enthusiastic and positive, always eager to learn something new or offer a helping hand where it’s needed most. Her favorite part of her job is seeing her friends and family at events and programs so that she can share in their joy.
