Mark Geiger

Mark is a North Carolina State University graduate, earning a bachelor’s Degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management with a focus on Sport Management. Following graduation, Mark spent some time with the Graham Recreation and Parks Department and the Cary Family YMCA as a Sports Director. More recently, he spent the last 8 years as the Youth Athletic Supervisor for the City of Burlington. Under Mark’s leadership, the youth athletic program in Burlington grew substantially. Most notably, soccer, youth baseball/softball, and flag football nearly doubled participation from 2017 to 2024.

Originally from West Virginia, Mark moved to Alamance County at a young age and grew up playing basketball and baseball with Alamance County Parks. Southern Alamance High School alumni, Mark has strong ties to our local community. He has coached basketball with Northern Guilford High School, High Point Central High School, Blessed Sacrament School in Burlington, and the Mid-State Magic basketball organization. He looks to bring his passion for sport, player development, and enthusiasm for fun to the Mebane Athletic team.

Mark’s family consists of his wonderful wife and two beautiful daughters. When he isn’t working, Mark enjoys traveling with his family, playing basketball, disc golf, and board games with friends.
