The City of Mebane is updating the ongoing Water Shortage Response Plan, moving to Stage I Declaration of Voluntary Conservation, reducing from Stage V mandatory restrictions to reflect that the Graham—Mebane Water Treatment Plant is now partially operational to supply water to Mebane.

The Mebane Emergency Operations Center (EOC) officially closed Friday at 5 p.m., and the (919) 304-9235 number will no longer be active.
 If you need to report storm damage or have any questions or concerns, please call the Mebane Police Department at (919) 563-9031.

Downtown Mebane Farmers Market

The 2024 Downtown Farmers Market season will begin on April 6 and wrap up on November 16.  It will be located at 102 E. Ruffin Street in downtown Mebane beside the Downtown Pocket Park and Dollar General.  It will take place each Saturday from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Join us on the 3rd Saturday of each month for our Power of Produce Healthy Kids Club – the Kids Club is free to participate for children 5-12pm. The market will not take place on April 27 and October 5.
