100 West Clay Street, Mebane, NC 27302

2024 Christmas Parade Information

The City of Mebane is pleased to present the Mebane Christmas Parade!

The Mebane Christmas Parade occurs annually on the first Friday in December at 7 p.m. in Downtown Mebane.

The parade starts at the intersection of Second Street and Clay Street.  It goes down Clay Street, turns right at Fifth Street, and then takes an immediate right onto Center Street.  The parade finishes at the Mebane Community Park.

It is the area’s only nighttime parade and is so much fun for the entire family. The parade has taken place for many years and features over 100 entries, including businesses, churches, school groups, and so on. The parade ends with Santa Claus arriving in Mebane!

If you are interested in participating in the Mebane Christmas Parade, you must submit a Parade Application.  Parade Applications are accepted from September 1 –  November 1 each year.  Parade applicants then hear back from the Parade Committee as to their approval status in mid-November.

Are you unable to attend the parade in person? Don’t fret! The City of Mebane will provide a live stream of the parade on the City’s YouTube channel, so you can still join in on the fun! The live stream will feature hosts Carson Johnson from Alamance County’s Maverick Radio and Mebane’s Public Information Officer, Kelly Hunter. This dynamic duo will amp up the viewer experience by providing holiday cheer, background information on the floats, fun facts about the parade entries, and more!

You can access the City of Mebane YouTube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoL1RXdRDMzK98p53TMoqww.

The Parade Committee is pleased to announce Coach John Kirby as Grand Marshal for the 2024 Christmas Parade in honor of his retirement!
