Mebane Main Street Vision Forum

SepSeptember 28 2021

6:00pm - 8:00pm Mebane Arts and Community Center

633 Corrigedor Dr., Mebane, NC 27302

The City of Mebane is partnering the NC Main Street staff for a Main Street Vision Forum Tuesday, September 28, at 6 p.m., at the Mebane Arts and Community Center. Virtual participation will be available by pre-registering for a Zoom webinar (https://tinyurl.com/Main-Street-Vision) and for those who just wish to watch by a livestream on YouTube.

The Main Street Vision Forum will be led by NC Main Street staff and dedicated Downtown Mebane volunteers to have Mebane residents craft a vision for their City’s Main Street program and future! It is based on four core topics: Community Assets, Economic Drivers, Stakeholders & Partners, and a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) Analysis. The discussions resulting from this workshop will contribute Mebane residents knowledge to these categories through facilitated conversations, which will all contribute to a shared vision for their City’s Downtown and Main Street program. This vision will be used to inform the Mebane Main Street mission statement.

While the Main Street Vision Forum is focused on Downtown, Mebane and area residents are all encouraged to attend and participate. Downtown is the heart of the City and will continue to be the core of the City as it grows. Whether someone lives, works, shops, or dines Downtown, we hope that they will join us September 28.
