On behalf of the City of Mebane, please be advised that the City is soliciting informal bids for the referenced project. Attached is a copy of the Bid Documents and Plans. This project consists of grading, installation of storm drainage culvert pipe, concrete curb and gutter, paving, and erosion control. Lump Sum bids are being requested.
No Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled.
Informal Bids are due via email to mreich@awck.com by 2:00 PM, Monday, December 20, 2021. Bids may also be delivered to the office of the Engineer, provided they are sealed and noted to contain a bid for the subject project. Proposal Form to be emailed in pdf format.
Bidders may request a copy of Bid Documents and Plans via email to mreich@awck.com or bstutts@awck.com. Bidders are requested to notify Engineer’s office via email to bstutts@awck.com if they plan to bid this project so that your firm can be added to the plan holder’s list.
If you prefer to receive a hard copy of the bid documents, please contact the office of the Engineer @ 336-226-5534 or by email at bstutts@awck.com and we will forward you a set or you may come by and pick up a set. A plan deposit fee is not required.

It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded at January or February Council Meeting provided bids are within budget. A Notice to Proceed will be issued soon thereafter. Completion date is 90 days after NTP is issued.
