The Stage I Voluntary Conservation under the Water Shortage Response Plan is officially lifted. The Graham—Mebane Water Treatment Plant is operating at 100% to supply water to Mebane and has returned to full Duke Energy primary power.

The Mebane Emergency Operations Center (EOC) officially closed Friday at 5 p.m., and the (919) 304-9235 number will no longer be active.
 If you need to report storm damage or have any questions or concerns, please call the Mebane Police Department at (919) 563-9031.

Informal Bid Request- S. Second St. Basketball Court

On behalf of the City of Mebane, please be advised that the City is soliciting informal bids for the referenced project.  Bid Documents can be obtained by contacting Mark Reich at mreich@awck.com.

This project consists of grading, installation of asphalt basketball court with goals and fencing, concrete handicap parking area, lining of the playing surface, and erosion control. Lump Sum bids containing a base bid and four alternates are being requested.

No Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled.

Informal Bids are due to be delivered to the Glendel Stephenson Municipal Building, 106 E. Washington St. Mebane, NC 27302 by 3:30 PM, Thursday, January 27, 2022.

It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded at February or March Council Meeting provided bids are within budget. A Notice to Proceed will be issued soon thereafter. Completion date is 90 days after NTP is issued.
