On behalf of the City of Mebane, please be advised that the City is soliciting formal bids for the referenced project. Bid Documents may be obtained from Engineer’s webpage by downloading the documents from:

This project consists of installing ~ 1,238 lf of 8” CIPP (sanitary sewer) and 317 lf of 15” CIPP (stormwater) lines; injection of ~ 4,250 lbs of High Density Polyurethane Resin (HDPR); installation of ~ 2,100 lf of 2” temporary water lines and 41 temporary water service connections; mechanical cleaning ~ 1,275 lf of 6” cast iron water mains and replacement of 4 existing water valves; traffic control and other incidentals required to complete the project.

A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in the Glendel Stephenson Municipal Building Council Chambers, 106 E. Washington Street, Mebane, NC.
Formal Bids will be received by the City of Mebane in the Glendel Stephenson Municipal Building, 106 E. Washington St. Mebane, NC 27302 until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 13, 2022.
It is anticipated that the project will be awarded at the January 2023 Council Meeting and work beginning in late January or early February, 2023. Completion date for project is June 30, 2023.
Prior to accessing files, participants will be required to accept Engineer’s Download Policy. The Policy requires that documents shall not be forwarded to other bidders; however, you will be permitted to forward to material suppliers to obtaining quotes and to subcontractors provided suppliers and subcontractors do not forward the documents to other bidders.
