Water Shortage Response Plan

North Carolina Statute requires that every utility providing water to customers have a plan in place to address drought and water shortage. The City of Mebane's Water Shortage Response Plan is reviewed and updated every five years. The current plan has three water use classifications along with five stages of water shortage. The below plan was adopted by the Mebane City Council on January 7, 2019.
