COVID-19

Get vaccinated. Wear face coverings. Choose outdoor activities.

Get vaccinated

Safe, effective, no-cost COVID-19 vaccines are available to everyone in Mebane. Getting vaccinated can prevent you from getting the virus. It can also protect those around you from getting infected.

Get tested

Get tested if you're exposed or have symptoms. If you feel sick, get tested right away. If you have a known exposure, but have no symptoms, get tested on or after day 6.

Wear a mask

If you are not vaccinated, it’s important to wear a face mask if you leave your house.

Fully vaccinated people can now unmask outdoors in certain situations. But even after you have full immunity, you will still need to wear a mask in some places, so always carry a mask with you.

When you get a vaccine, it will still take a few weeks to build full immunity.
