About
Since adoption of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation Plan in 2015, the City of Mebane created the Mebane Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Commission (BPAC) to advise the City Council on how to most effectively serve the bicycle, pedestrian, and related needs of Mebane. The BPAC includes seven members who meet monthly and are primarily supported by the City’s Planning and Recreation & Parks Departments. All BPAC members live in Mebane’s planning jurisdiction, bringing passion for the community and advocating for pedestrian and cyclist safety and accessibility.
The BPAC meets at 6:00 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month. All meetings of the BPAC are open to the public.
