New Draft-Based Team Formation
We're excited to introduce a draft model for our 8U-13U youth baseball and softball leagues. All players will participate in pre-season assessments, allowing coaches to evaluate skills and ensure balanced, competitive teams. This new format promotes fairness, development, and fun for everyone!
Assessment Dates:
- 8U Baseball/9U Softball - Monday, February 23rd
- 10U Baseball/12U Softball - Tuesday, February 24th
- 13U Baseball - Wednesday, February 25th
- Assessments are only for REGISTERED players
*T-Ball leagues and 6U leagues will NOT have assessments
**Time/Location for the assessments will be sent one week prior to the assessment date
-Players are strongly encouraged to attend assessments — it's the best way to ensure fair placement and team fit.
-Players who do not attend will still be placed on a team, but will be randomly assigned and not eligible to be drafted by a coach.
